Provide AI&T technical assessments for space vehicle programs, supporting USG and contractors.
-Review proposed changes to Class 1 documents and tailoring of Compliance Documents and provide feedback and recommendations -Provided inputs to acquisition documents required to support Request for Proposal release including the Statement of Work, Contract Data Requirements List, and Compliance Document List -Examine requirements that drive the cost of the program and Identify potential alternatives to mitigate risk or more cost effectively enhance capability -Provide Space Vehicle Engineering Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T) technical assessments to USG customer identifying any discrepancies between actual and planned performance to include any deviations in cost, schedule, quality and all resulting impacts. -Provide detailed reports of progress with technical evaluation of risk and impact. Identify and elevate technical and programmatic challenges. Summarize and effectively communicate technical recommendations for key program decisions -Support to US Government and the Space Sensing PEO organization responsible for Next Gen Polar (NGP) missile warning acquisition, program management and technical execution of Space Vehicle contractor Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T) production activities. Participate in regular meetings with Government and in factory space vehicle contractor team
-Able to design, analyze, and report out on spacecraft and payload hardware to provide in-depth technical assessments and identify issues and risks -Technical Bachelor’s degree -Excellent communication skills, customer relationships and technical skills -Experienced with program office technical, schedule, and cost activities -Ability to work in a hybrid work environment to include remote, on location at the Customer site, and at the spacecraft contractor's facilities when required. -Self-starter comfortable working as a SME in a non-structured Systems Engineering and Technical Assessment (SETA) services contractor consulting environment -Eight (8) or more years directly applicable experience with Space Vehicle system Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T) production activities, requirements, system development, and system testing -Active TS/SCI Security Clearance are required for the position -Ability to develop solutions for complex technical issues with limited supervision -Able to implement themselves into the Customers decision cycle and identify then tackle tasks needed without direct guidance or supervision
