Report quality status, quality incidents, and root-cause-analysis to the Project Director, Business Unit (BU), and other defined parties, jointly with the PD team, based on determined KPIs, key figures, and specified characteristics. Communicate quality targets to all people affected or involved. Escalate project-endangering situations as set forth in the mission of the function and, if relevant, to the head of the project-related BU.
Plan and conduct project audits, assessments, reviews and participate in status meetings. Ensure implementation of (improvement) measures.

Plan, initiated, and coordinated continuous improvement actions for all phases of the project. Ensure good practice sharing and feedback of experience e.g. through continuous improvement workshops (esp. lessons learned) and project assessments.
Define and implement QM strategy and systems for the overall project considering the Consortium Policy and the Contract requirements.
Identify qualification requirements and initiate training for project employees about knowledge of quality methods to be applied, process awareness, and expert knowledge.
Establish and monitor quality plan e.g. acc. ISO 10005 / 10006, defines quality targets based on project critical factors and defines methods/tools based on HQ standards. All proceedings with the application of methods/tools should be clearly defined with reference to standard processes of related business(es) and their interfaces of HQ to required on-site proceedings.

Strategic execution of quality frameworks
Cooperate with the QM of the project of lots and other functions, e.g. environmental protection, health, and safety at work, and guide the Quality Manager of partners to achieve the overall Quality Strategy
Ensure that quality for site activities is properly managed by the concerned lots during installation and T&C (non-conformity, corrective actions, closure…), including follow-up of the needed actions.
Support project management in planning and securing milestone results.
Leading site quality for large and complex electromechanical work.
Plan and ensure the required quality level of the project-specific supply chain (internal & external) with a focus on specifications and interface definitions. This includes the application of supplier-related procedures, such as selection, qualification, development, integration, supervision, and auditing.
Supplier quality management by involvement in procurement process, supplier assessments/audits, inspections.
Ensure execution of quality plan and quality gate process through active involvement in readiness checks and participation in quality gate meetings. Reject releases e.g. at quality gates in case of non-conformity and initiate corrective actions. Report and escalate as set forth in the mission of the function.
The Quality Manager is leading the quality team, as well as driving the quality of the site activities.

Fluency in both written and spoken English.
Practical knowledge of ISO standards 9001, 14001, and 45001 is highly appreciated.

Intervention and escalation to reporting line in functional matters where guidelines, quality-relevant procedures, or targets are not complied with. This includes the involvement of expert opinions as necessary Leadership.
