

Tarkett provides innovative flooring and surface solutions for various industries worldwide.
The primary purpose of the role is to work on the tile press, inspect, catch, and stack tile, lift and stack tile boxes, and operate the inspection table to wrap and inspect carpet rolls.
Key duties include inspecting and boxing first‑quality tile, moving and stacking tile boxes that weigh about 45 lb, labeling boxes, inspecting and wrapping roll goods, maintaining housekeeping, and performing other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Additional responsibilities involve complying with all safety policies, reporting unsafe activities, participating in team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals, and handling any other duties as directed.
Education requirements are less than a high school diploma or up to one month of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language skills needed are the ability to read and understand simple instructions and correspondence, write basic messages, and present information in one‑on‑one or small‑group settings.
Mathematical skills include adding and subtracting two‑digit numbers, multiplying and dividing by tens and hundreds, and performing calculations involving money, weight, volume, and distance.
Basic personal computer skills are required for routine computer operations.
The role requires planning and organization abilities, such as handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast‑changing environment.
