• Ensure compliance with DoD, IC, and federal acquisition guidelines through periodic risk assessments and governance reviews.
• Develop and maintain compliance tracking documentation covering security, operational, and financial regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments, implement mitigation strategies, and support program governance audits.

Requirements

NV5 Geospatial is recruiting a Risk & Compliance Analyst to support US Southern Command remotely. The position requires strong abilities in assessing programmatic risks, ensuring compliance with DoD governance frameworks, and developing mitigation strategies. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and pass a background check; a Secret clearance is preferred but not required.

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Information Security, or related field, or possess five years of equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience with DoD cybersecurity policies and security control implementation.
• Strong analytical and technical writing abilities.
• Preferred certifications: Lean Six Sigma, PMP, CRISC, CISM, or CISSP.
• Proficiency in Portuguese or Spanish is a plus.
• Experience with government IT programs and environments preferred.
• Active Secret clearance or higher preferred; no clearance required.
• Must be U.S. citizen and able to pass background check and drug screening.
• Travel up to 5‑15% of the time.
