Process/manage material deliveries – ensure that materials received are properly inspected for quantity and quality and are in compliance with contract documents.
Manage closeout of areas and handover to the client
Accumulate all necessary data and prepare monthly pay estimates.
Manage and negotiate subcontractor and material contracts.
Work closely with Project Managers on Project Deliverables.
Management and mentoring of junior members of the team.
Maintain a complete and current record of submittals, approvals and resubmittals, including a file of letters of transmittal and dates of each transaction.
Assist in updating the project schedule and ensure milestones are met.
Coordinate and schedule shop drawings and submittals.
Participate in monthly forecasting revenue and cost accruals.
Process and estimate change orders and requests for information as directed by the Project Manager.

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience
Working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Excellent interpersonal, writing, and computer skills.
Working knowledge of Auto Cad or drafting software is preferred.
Experience with MTA and/or Metro-North preferred.
30-hour OSHA and SST certificates are preferred.
Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings.
Relevant work experience
Proficiency in basic engineering computations and analysis.
Understand NYC DOB health & safety requirements.
High level of involvement in the operations of our cost control system and analysis of construction costs.
Ability to be approved by agencies/owners as required
