Drafter

Description

• Support quality control efforts by participating in peer reviews to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Incorporate redlines and revisions provided by project managers, engineers, and designers.
• Maintain organized CAD files and documentation in alignment with company procedures.
• Work collaboratively within a team environment and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
• Convert field notes, sketches, site photos, and online mapping data into accurate AutoCAD layouts.
• Produce and update CAD drawings for EV charging station and telecommunications projects, including site plans, zoning exhibits, leasing drawings, and construction documents.

Requirements

• Open to entry-level candidates and recent graduates with no prior industry experience.
• (No engineering degree required.)
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to follow established drafting standards.
• Familiarity with civil, electrical, structural, or telecom drafting concepts is a plus, but not required.
• AutoCAD proficiency — coursework, academic projects, or basic hands‑on experience acceptable.
• Associate’s degree, CAD certificate, or Engineering Technology education preferred.
