Trusted global infrastructure consulting firm delivering engineering, design, construction management services.
In response to strong client demand and a robust infrastructure pipeline, AECOM’s programme management advisory and delivery teams are expanding across all grades. The roles support the full programme lifecycle—from definition, delivery model and organisational design, through readiness, maturity assessments, PMO design, leadership and implementation. Individuals will work independently or with a Director to shape, develop, initiate and deliver client investment and business‑change programmes.
Successful candidates will lead their teams toward strategic capability, growth and commercial targets, and deliver complex, multidisciplinary programme advisory commissions. They will ensure quality, commercial and risk standards are met, embed health, safety and environmental requirements, and build strong client and cross‑functional relationships. Business development, proposal leadership, talent development and knowledge sharing are also core expectations.
We are looking for professionals with sector expertise in public and private infrastructure (aviation, energy, rail, defence, water and related areas) and a proven record of managing large, multi‑disciplinary programmes and PMOs. Core competencies include leadership, strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, commercial acumen and problem‑solving, complemented by consulting experience, senior client relationship skills and a track record of winning new business. Required qualifications include a relevant degree, eligibility for BPSS/SC clearance, NEC training, and preferably APM/ChPP or Managing Successful Programmes accreditation, plus proficiency with PMO tools such as MS Office, Power BI, Aconex and Primavera P6.
