Transmission Lines Engineer - Civil/Structural

Description

The Transmission Line Engineer (Civil / Structural) is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality design solutions for high voltage transmission line projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and contributing to strategic planning and innovation.

• Assisting with the preparation of proposals
• Modelling of structures using PLS-TOWER, PLS-POLE
• Interfacing directly with clients on projects and new opportunities
• Supporting the end-to-end design of Transmission Lines including modelling, design of structures, and foundations.
• Drafting design reports
• Managing smaller projects or parts of larger projects

Requirements

Successful candidates will be required to complete a medical assessment and provide a police clearance.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Concept and Detailed Design of Transmission Lines using PLS-CADD software
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills, with a focus on quality and delivery
• Self-motivated and keen to progress career
• Foundations design (beneficial)
• Familiarity with Australian and international codes and standards relevant to transmission infrastructure (e.g., AS/NZS 7000, ASCE 74, and ASCE 10)
• Minimum of 2 years transmission lines experience
• Bachelor Degree in Civil or Structural (or equivalent)
• Proficiency in PLS software (PLS-CADD, TOWER and POLE)
