- Keep the job site organized and ensure proper restoration at project completion.
- Complete all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
- Train and mentor new team members.
- Test and troubleshoot continuity of fiber optic networks.
- Prepare fiber splice enclosures such as Tyco, Commscope, Corning etc.
- Track time and job completion progress.
- Utilize fusion splicer, test equipment OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Refelctometer) 1310, 1550, DWDM, CWDM, 945 OLTS, Max Tester, Power meter.

- You thrive in long-term projects and fast-paced environments.
- You are comfortable working outdoors and in varied conditions.
- You hold the necessary certifications such as OSHA 10, CPR, flagging.
- You consistently produce high-quality work.
- You have 3-5 years of fiber splicing and troubleshooting experience.
- You lead by example and enjoy coaching others.
- Operate all testing equipment and be adept at resolving challenges common to fiber optic networks.
- You're experienced in telecom construction.
- You can lift up to 70lbs. and work at heights using a ladder or bucket truck.
- You're available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.
- You enjoy solving complex problems and taking a hands-on approach.
- You have knowledge of fiber engineering and design, reading documentation, light levels and dB loss.
