The 3rd and 4th year Apprentice Electrician supports Silent‑Aire Limited Partnership by installing and terminating conduit, cable, equipment, panels, sensors and various control devices. The role involves constructing and fabricating control panels, performing rough‑in and finish wiring, installing interlocking wiring and conducting wiring check‑outs, all in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Apprentices are expected to troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical control circuits for motors and devices, provide material take‑offs, propose design modifications and ensure accurate documentation of maintenance work. They also monitor parts usage, assist with preventative and predictive maintenance schedules and adhere to Silent‑Aire’s safety program and Alberta occupational health and safety regulations.
Candidates must be registered as apprentice electricians in Alberta, enrolled in a recognized trade school and capable of working under journeymen supervision as well as independently. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, effective verbal and written communication, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
