The Engineering Technologist will also support the preparation and review of technical documents under the direction of an engineer, including supporting CAD updates/back-checking.
The primary role of the Engineering Technologist is to support the EGS, Lead, and engineers tracking of information and locating documents.
Maintain Key Process Improvement registers

Computer Skills: A strong aptitude for utilizing the computer to collect, organizes, and presents technical data through the use of relational databases.
Ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines and functions on assigned tasks
Must be a U.S citizen.
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
Technical Skills: Analyze data within technical documents to identify relevant information and properly classify that information so that it can be sorted and readily retrieved for later analysis and use by project staff.
Preferred previous Bechtel and/or DOD or DOE project experience
Analytical Skills: Possess the desire and ability to monitor large quantities of information and employ efficient extraction techniques in response to requests for information.
Attention to Detail: Possess the ability to accurately identify and capture relevant technical details from within large documents and data sets.
Level 1: Requires an Associate of Arts or an Associate of Science degree (or international equivalent) with 1-2 years of relevant work experience OR no degree and 4-5 years of relevant work experience
Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
In addition, it will be required that the candidate has excellent communication skills and can demonstrate leadership, quality, and safety values within the work group and to interfacing disciplines.
Communication Skills: As a member of an Engineering team, communicate with other data analysts, engineers, technical experts, and management.
Proficient in software tools (MS Excel, Word, Access, Power Point)
Level 2: Requires an Associate of Arts or an Associate of Science degree (or international equivalent) with 3-4 years of relevant work experience OR no degree and 5-6 years of relevant work experience
