Architectural Drafter

Description

• Prepare construction bid documents, ensuring compliance with current building codes, city, state, and federal regulations, as well as the Americans with Disabilities Act requirements
• Keep project architect, project manager, supervisor, and/or principal informed of project status and pertinent issues
• Assist with project management to ensure completion in accordance with designated design, code, specification, construction standards, and schedule requirements
• Prepare complete and accurate detailed drawings involving structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other systems using advanced computer-aided drafting techniques
• Ensure all project drawings and revisions are properly controlled and maintained in designated project files

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency with Revit and BIM production skills
• Advanced working knowledge of architectural and construction design operations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
• High School or Post-Secondary Training in Revit
• Additional coursework in architecture, industrial design, or related fields preferred
• 2+ years of Revit experience at an architecture firm
