Requirements

• Have a strong understanding of piping, fixtures, and water systems
• Adaptable to diverse work settings, performing physically demanding tasks with endurance and efficiency

• Strong problem-solving abilities with the patience and skill to identify root causes and implement lasting solutions
• Experience working in crawl spaces, attics, tight areas, and varying residential environments
• Comfortable using plumbing tools such as augers, drain snakes, inspection cameras, soldering torches, and pipe-threading equipment
• Highly self-driven and dependable, excelling in both independent work and small-team collaboration
• Safety-focused mindset with consistent use of PPE and proper procedures
• Ability to pass background and drug screening (if required by company policy)
• Self-motivated independent worker
• Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving plumbing issues independently
• Solid understanding of residential plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage systems, venting, and gas piping
• Proven ability to complete service tickets, estimate materials, and manage time across multiple jobs per day
• Enjoy diagnosing plumbing issues and finding practical solutions
• Willingness to participate in occasional on-call rotations, if applicable
• Ability to follow industry codes and safety guidelines to ensure reliable plumbing systems
• Prior experience as a residential service plumber (2+ years preferred) with a track record of performing accurate repairs and successful installations
• Ability to interpret blueprints, building plans, and technical diagrams
• Technically skilled and have a strong understanding of plumbing systems, piping, and fixture installations
• Knowledge of local, state, and national plumbing codes, along with strong adherence to safety standards
• Background working directly with homeowners or clients, providing professional communication and customer service
• Proficient in diagnosing leaks, clogs, low water pressure, fixture failures, and equipment malfunctions
• Understanding building plans to correctly install or modify plumbing systems
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Familiarity with mobile dispatch systems, service apps, or digital ticketing tools (preferred but not required)
• Skilled in repairing and installing faucets, toilets, sinks, water heaters, garbage disposals, and other plumbing fixtures
• Strong communication skills interacting with clients, explaining repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Self-motivated and dependable, capable of working independently without constant supervision
• Excellent communication skills — able to explain repairs, present options, and ensure customer understanding
• Problem solver that enjoys diagnosing plumbing issues, thinking critically, and implementing effective solutions
• Safety conscious following industry codes and safety regulations to ensure plumbing systems are functional and secure
• Physically able to perform demanding tasks including lifting 50+ lbs., climbing ladders, kneeling, bending, and working in varied weather conditions
