Support and lead change management activities including presentations, training, and other communications.
Develop process maps, standard operating procedures, and other documentation.
Lead projects, business process improvements, and other initiatives; bring best practice to accounting functions such as creating and updating corporate accounting policy/methodology, and desktop procedures. Assess project scope, goals, requirements, dependencies, and timelines to create robust and feasible project plans for implementation.
Collaborate with subject-matter experts and Corporate Service partners to develop and launch new processes, procedures, policies, and controls where needed to improve and streamline the accounting processes. Conduct testing and validation of new processes.
Interfaces with managers and others in the company to ensure adherence to policies and standardization of processes.
Support accounting activities including GL reconciliation, financial reporting, and external and internal audits.

Two (2) years of experience management or leadership experience preferred.
Strategic and results-oriented collaborator with multiple stakeholders; able to lead large-scale projects and reprioritize, as necessary.
Experience in public accounting including auditing financial records, comparison of published GAAP versus client application, internal control analysis, data research for anomalies, and financial analytic, preferred.
Five (5) years progressive accounting experience required. Broad experience of working in multiple corporate accounting subfunctions, such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, and Payroll strongly preferred.
Certified Public Accounting (CPA) certification, preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma, LEAN or other project and operational excellence certification preferred.
Excellent problem-solving and strong analytical skills required.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills and ability to work at all levels required.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or Finance or equivalent work experience required.
Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and Financial Accounting Standards preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
Advanced knowledge of project-based accounting and percent complete work in progress contract accounting preferred.
Experience in project leadership and process improvement.
