Collaborates with and supports Design Engineers / Designer I & II colleagues on their technical development and professional growth.
Responsible for the design engineering services following with Corporate Vision, Mission, and Core Values as well as Corporate ISO Systems View(s), and related professional standards, client requirements, and corporate objectives.
Assists with development of design guides, guide specifications, and design control procedures when directed by Practice Technical Leader.
Evaluates vendors’ bids and drawings to ensure compliance with specifications.
Collaborates with more experienced engineering colleagues to prepare basic plan details and outlines, cost estimates, and perform calculations in support of broader engineering activities involving the design of electrical equipment, components, or systems.
Lays out full plan designs, plan details and outlines, identifies quantities of materials, cost estimates, and performs calculations for a detailed segment of a project.
Aids and support to proposal teams or proposal managers as requested.
Approaches all assigned tasks as an opportunity for growth and experience, modeling the way for other team members.
Prepares technical reports such as life cycle cost analysis, facility conditions assessments, and other engineering guidance for clients.

Ability to work in all elements of indoor and outdoor environments which include the heat, cold, rain, snow, wind, etc.
