  • Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
  • Acts as primary Emergency Preparedness point of contact for site decommissioning activities.
  • Coordinates Emergency Preparedness representation on Nuclear Energy Institute & Institute Nuclear Power Operations taskforces and Nuclear Regulatory Commission Rulemaking meetings and activities.
  • Assesses the impact of regulatory changes and initiatives on Constellation Nuclear programs, procedures, T&RMs, work practices, equipment and training.
  • Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support of technical projects and programs.
  • Develops action plans with tasks, owners, and due dates required to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and/or regulatory guidance.
  • Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
  • Provides in-depth technical expertise to coordinate and/or perform reviews of draft regulation and regulatory guidance and coordinate responses to the NRC through NEI and/or Constellation Nuclear Licensing.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform and lead through core competencies
  • Associate's degree in a technical field with 12 years of Emergency Preparedness/Licensing or related experience and 5 years at exempt level OR
  • Supervisory experience
  • Approval of VP Licensing & Regulatory required to obtain this classification
  • 3 years of experience at a nuclear power plant
  • Applicable Professional certification (e.g., Licensed Operator, CHP, CEM)
  • Bachelor's degree in technical field with 10 years of Emergency Preparedness/Licensing or related experience OR
  • High school diploma/GED with 14 years of Emergency Preparedness/Licensing or related experience and 5 years at exempt level
  • SRO License or Cert
  • 5 years in Site Emergency Preparedness, Radiation Protection, Ops, Licensing, Training, or Offsite Dose Calculation Manual (ODCM) Chemistry experience
  • Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 10 years of Emergency Preparedness/Licensing or related experience OR
