Safety Officer

We are seeking, for one of our subsidiaries, a Safety Officer responsible for ensuring the safety of all company assets, personnel, and operations. The ideal candidate will help maintain a secure and compliant work environment by implementing safety programs, conducting inspections, and promoting awareness among employees, vendors, and contractors.

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety and health programs in compliance with company and ISO standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all safety programs are up to date.
• Coordinate, monitor, and report on safety performance, including risk management, incident reporting, and safety audits.
• Inspect workplace processes, equipment, and environments to identify hazards and ensure proper protective measures.
• Conduct safety training sessions and awareness campaigns regularly.
• Promote occupational health and safety awareness among employees and management.
• Enforce company safety and security policies and procedures.
• Investigate incidents and propose corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure all security systems and guard operations are functioning effectively.

• Strong communication and leadership abilities to promote safety culture across all levels.
• Strong knowledge of safety laws, regulations, and codes applicable to industrial environments.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a safety or security-related role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (engineering or safety-related preferred).
• Good command of Arabic; proficiency in English is an added advantage.
