  • Provide training and support to corporate and mill-level employees on purchasing practices.
  • Lead or participate in special projects as assigned.

  • Maintain accurate parts data and assist with parts lookup for mill purchasing teams.
  • Partner with the Supply Chain team to identify and implement process improvements across procurement activities.
  • Assist with ERP system implementation and enhancements related to procurement modules.
  • Develop and document purchasing processes and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Oversee U.S. fleet and corporate pool vehicles, ensuring cost-effective and efficient management of the fleet.
  • Assist the Supply Chain Team with vendor management and performance tracking.

  • Able to work at heights up to 150 feet above ground
  • Able to reach various angles on a regular basis
  • Standing/walking – working on feet standing or walking on a regular basis
  • 5+ years of purchasing experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably within an ERP or maintenance system.
  • Knowledge of parts supply and procurement practices for forestry operations.
  • Formal training or experience in procurement, finance, forestry, or manufacturing.
  • Able to grasp lightweight material (less than 5 lbs.) on a regular basis
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels.
  • Able to navigate catwalks
  • Professional supply chain certification (e.g., CPSM, CSCP).
  • Stooping and bending on a regular basis
  • Climbing – frequent climbing up and down from lift truck/ladders/stairs and such
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
