Conduct site visits, surveys and inspections, and assist with data collection, compilation and assessment for infrastructure projects
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, cities/clients, and other public agencies
Assist senior staff in the production of project plans, specifications, scheduling, budgeting, technical memorandums and cost estimates
Be involved in Infrastructure Development Project aspects including studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates. Projects may include planning, modeling, and design of facilities such as rail yards, water and wastewater treatment plants, lift stations, pump stations, utilities (water transmission, gravity sanitary sewer mains, force mains, etc.), hydraulics and hydrology, drainage design, site plans, and other miscellaneous civil design projects.
Assist senior staff with construction management tasks such as material submittal reviews build reviews and coordination with Contractors

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field
Construction inspection or field engineering experience
Ability to execute engineering best practices for Civil or Mechanical engineering projects for a wide variety of clients, adapting to new environments quickly.
3+ years of experience in civil infrastructure design and/or construction
Experience using computer assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering and design documents (examples include software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and GIS)
Physically able to perform work in the field
Active Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or in the process of completing, Preferred
Valid Driver License
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be flexible, well organized, accountable, and dependable
Willingness to travel up to 50%
