Demonstrate the highest standards of ethical behavior and support the AEP’s Corporate Compliance Policy
Effectively manage conflict and build consensus for agreements concerning business challenges and opportunities.
Participate in establishing a healthy culture of continuous Process Improvement
Including but not limited to liaison support with AEP IT for data flow, process, testing, documentation, administration, communications, and support.
Identify and communicate gaps and opportunities for process improvements.
Coordinate the development and enhancement of business processes, applications, and justifications to optimize the Generation portfolio of applications and drive standardization.
Initiate lead and facilitate meetings effectively.
Work with all generation business units and IT to identify upstream and downstream impacts (application and/or business process) of new and upgraded applications within generation.

Demonstrate the ability to monitor / maintain budgets within the departments and projects supported, understanding how decisions and recommendations impact expenses and revenues.
Strong communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of AEP management.
Proven ability to analyze data with Cognos and Power BI , manage multiple demands effectively, and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize application utilization in Generation.
Dedicated to optimizing electric generation processes for work and asset management to ensure reliable, efficient, and sustainable energy production.
Data processing and preparation software knowledge, preferred (i.e. SQL, keytexting, macros, etc..)
Ability to multitask and be self directed, meet critical deadlines
Experience in Agile project methodology or continuous improvement, preferred product owner knowledge
Proficient at reviewing scope, requirements, roles, objectives, and constraints to develop strategy for effective project and user support delivery.
