This is a great opportunity for a Housing Management Coordinator to join our team at Gainford House. As our Housing and Property specialist, you will focus on tenancy support for customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. You will provide a housing management service that helps customers manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts, enabling them to live independently within our purpose‑built building.
- Support customers in maintaining proud homes and engage them in their tenancies
- Assist customers with housing benefit claims and ensure payments are applied to rent accounts
- Issue and sign warning letters and notices, and attend court when necessary
- Turn around vacant or void properties within set timescales to maximise occupancy
- Ensure health and safety compliance and meet maintenance standards
- Work with customers who have learning disabilities and autism
- Use technology for support plans, benefit claims and tenancy sign‑ups

- Experience managing a housing management caseload and overseeing landlord duties
- Knowledge of re‑letting rooms or units, rent collection, and taking formal tenancy action
- Ability to lead within the team, providing guidance and support to colleagues
- Proactive, well‑organised, positive “can‑do” attitude and initiative
- Ability to collaborate with internal colleagues and external partners
Benefits
Housing Management Coordinator – Pay £13.21 per hour (£25,838 per annum pro rata) with great benefits including a Health Cash Plan.
