In this role, you will have the opportunity to operate process equipment or machinery to convert raw materials or semi‑finished parts into components or finished parts for a final product at the right time and with the required quality. Each day, you will execute the assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines and report any non‑compliance. You will also showcase your expertise by operating machines in accordance with the operating manual, work schedule, and/or production order instructions.
You will be mainly accountable for performing routine machinery set‑up, adjustments, and repairing and fitting simple replacement parts. You will ensure regular standard maintenance of the equipment, tools set‑up, programming activities, and troubleshooting, and you will report any issues while maintaining detailed records of machinery set‑ups, repairs, and maintenance activities. Additionally, you will keep track of approved, defective units, and final products.
You are highly skilled and enjoy working with machine manufacturing and the electrical distribution market. You have at least two years of experience in manufacturing, preferably with prior machine experience, and possess advanced skills in machine troubleshooting. You are passionate about achieving high standards, meeting customer commitments, and working in a team atmosphere. A high school diploma is required, and you communicate well with others.
