The Principal Engineer – Energy Asset Technology is a senior technical leader responsible for shaping the future of IT and OT across energy assets. The role provides technical authority and strategic guidance, leveraging cloud, IIoT, AI/ML and automation to deliver secure, scalable solutions. It works closely with Architecture, Cyber Security and Operational Technology teams to create roadmaps and standards that support the energy transition.
Key responsibilities include leading complex technology projects, designing secure infrastructure, and mentoring technical staff across enterprise and operational environments. The engineer collaborates with cross‑functional teams to develop robust security solutions, defines technology strategies, and ensures compliance with industry standards. Continuous improvement and a service‑driven culture are championed throughout the organization.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship across enterprise and OT environments
- Design and deliver secure, scalable solutions using AI/ML, IIoT, edge computing, cloud and automation
