- Create test plans, oversee and interpret test results in compliance with company and industry standards and policies.
- Prepare technical justifications and technical documents to demonstrate compliance with applicable standards.
- Develop test and certification strategies to meet those requirements.
- Write and execute test protocols in accordance with approval standards and procedures, record results, and write test reports.
- Interface directly with third-party certification agencies and manage projects with them.
- Participate in sustaining and new product development teams to capture and document global hazardous location and performance requirements.
- Interpret and apply applicable safety and performance standards.

- Experience in software testing, firmware, hardware, and full system testing.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Competence in interpreting data and results, test equipment, electrical testing, and test development.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering and Python.
- Familiarity with hazardous location and performance standards (FM, CSA, ATEX, IECEx).
- Understanding of design requirements and application in product evaluation through technical analysis and testing.
- Experience in the design and certification of products used in hazardous locations, including performance certifications.
- 1-4 years’ experience in firmware formal verification and/or validation, product testing, and requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret requirements, fix bugs, and troubleshoot.
- Experience with sustaining and new product development projects.
- Working knowledge of product development processes, particularly verification and validation testing.
- Proficiency in test engineering, product testing, requirements analysis, validation, and test plan development.
- BSEE preferred.
- At least 1 year experience in standards-based testing, including environmental testing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
