Field Engineer Internship

Description

• Perform field surveys using PC‑based software and GPS equipment.
• Manage project quality control records and ensure required reporting.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate audits and inspections.
• Handle material inventory and receiving paperwork.
• Prepare final job closeout, as‑built drawings, and job binder.
• Schedule and manage subcontractors.
• Submit RFIs (Requests for Information).

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Electrical/Mechanical).
• Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and have completed at least 24 college credits.
• Comfortable with exposure to dirt, heat, noise, and 100% travel.
• Basic understanding of construction industry practices.
• Demonstrate strong work ethic, teamwork, and deadline orientation.
• Exhibit problem‑solving, written and oral communication skills.
• Adaptable and willing to learn.

Benefits

The position offers hourly compensation of $20‑$21 on a temporary basis without company benefits.
