Reporting to the manager, the Handyman contributes to safe, efficient facility operations by supporting preventative, corrective, and general maintenance activities while adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards.
Success in this entry‑level role depends on basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, internet), strong customer service, effective communication, and the ability to use hand and power tools responsibly.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 years old, have 0‑1 year of facility maintenance experience, possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and be fluent in English; a trade certificate is preferred.
The job requires regular standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 70 lb, with exposure to varied temperatures and occasional confined spaces. Employees must follow HSEQ policies, maintain a clean workspace, and actively engage in safety training.
