Plant Quality Manager - Doors

Global designer, manufacturer & distributor of high‑performance doors, windows and related building products.
Managing door manufacturing quality control and building internal plant QC program
Performing regular quality control audits to ensure sites continue to work in compliance with company and federal standards
Serving as a liaison between our company's senior management and the sites to identify quality issues and come up with solutions
Providing technical advice and guidance to suppliers to reduce defect rates
Maintaining detailed reports on site quality, including defect rates and areas that result in flaws
Collaborate with diverse teams within a manufacturing organization, including engineering, product management, and operations, to ensure the successful delivery of products
Conducting tests and assessments on products to identify quality issues
Reviewing incoming supplies and products from vendors to check for defects and ensure quality
Reviewing our manufacturing specifications to identify critical to quality specifications needed for production
Develop and manage plant level quality metrics to drive improvements
Build and manage door manufacturing quality management system

Proven experience in manufacturing and in securing supplier process agreements
Ability to work with diverse teams within a manufacturing organization and to lead and inspire teams to deliver exceptional results
Bachelor's degree in material science, engineering, or a related experience
Expertise in problem-solving with a strong background in data analysis and visualization
Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
Excellent statistical analysis and quality assurance skills
5+ years of experience in product or supplier quality, engineering, or a related field
