Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members, including engineers, designers, and support staff, to achieve project goals and deliverables.
Assist Project Managers to manage aspects of project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and quality assurance, to ensure successful project outcomes.
Act as Project Manager on select projects, leading multidisciplinary teams in the planning, design, and execution of transportation projects, including roadways, highways, and other infrastructure projects.

Coordinate with Project Managers to determine technical team assignments for each project.
Manage department staff workload responsibilities, technical development and day-to-day oversight.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering innovative and cost-effective solution
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or related field
New Jersey Licensed Professional Engineer
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience with NJDOT, NJ Turnpike, and NJ Counties
Strong technical expertise in transportation engineering principles, standards, and practices, including proficiency with relevant software tools and design standards.
Experience working with NJTA and NJDOT design and construction requirements
At least 15 years of experience in highway engineering and roadway design; minimum of 2 years of experience in staff management
Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microstation, InRoads and/or Power InRoads.
Proven track record of successfully managing projects from conception to completion, including experience with project planning, design, and construction phases
