Assist in the development of company-wide procurement templates and assist in negotiating high-risk contracts for various projects.
Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
Leverage vendors/subcontractors across multiple procurements to create cost savings to projects.
Monitor shipments to ensure goods come in on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods.
Confer with staff, users and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action.
Support procurement staff meetings and provide legal communication to the team as needed.
Work to resolve escalated, complex, or disputed contract issues.
Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
Prepare/issue Request for Proposals (RFP’s) and evaluate vendor/subcontractor proposals to identify vendors/subcontractors who meet project constraints of budget and schedule at the estimating, execution and site purchasing levels.
Develop and manage material and vendor subcontracts for the project. Interface with Engineering and/or construction teams to provide insight about status of cost, quality and schedule for materials/equipment for your assigned project(s).
Develop and maintain vendor relationships and manage supplier-specific vendor template negotiations.
Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities and the supplier’s reputation and history.

SAP Experience a plus. InEight Software experience (or similar) highly desired
General understanding of all areas of procurement is desirable, including procurement execution, estimating, expediting, and site purchasing.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel) and general knowledge of database utilization
