Maintains shipping logs and shipping bills needed by other departments
Fills orders or issues supplies from stock and moves or transports material throughout the company
Marks identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles.
Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock and maintains records
Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices.
Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments.
Makes adjustments or repairs to articles carried in stock.
Determines methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.
Distributes stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued.
Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.
Requisitions articles to fill incoming orders.
Requirements
forklift license
forklift driving

clean driving
math skills
Fork Lift License; or the ability to obtain license if hired
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
One to three months experience in a Manufacturing environment
High School diploma or GED preferred
Fork Lift driving experience preferred
Must have clean driving record
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
