Specification Representative- New England

Description

• Document all activity in company CRM
• Provide monthly pipeline reports.
• Build relationships with targeted firms via product presentations, library updates, lunch & learns, and various industry events.
• Provide material quotes to contractors/subcontractors as necessary for all projects in progress.
• Document, track, and follow through all known project specifications from initial spec to order completion.
• Identify and Develop new business directly with targeted commercial end users.
• Expand upon existing business in the defined territory.
• Achieve specification sales goals and revenue goals.
• Actively participate in local chapter trade associations. (AIA, ASID, IIDA, CSI, etc.)
• Manage and follow through on assigned leads from outside the territory
• Provide design community with specification documents, budgetary pricing, and sample material placement.
• Identify architectural and design firms that best align with companies offering.
• Continue to acquire and maintain comprehensive product and industry knowledge.

Requirements

reSAWN Timber is looking to add an experienced Specification Rep to our Sales team. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Inside and Outside Specification Rep is responsible for finding, capturing and servicing qualified targets in need of commercial and residential building products. Each Specification Rep is assigned a territory inside the US or Canada.

• Knowledge and experience with wood products
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Hands on experience with CRM’s
• Experience with product sales
• Strong communication skills and grammar.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to understand technical product specifications and features.
• 2-6 Years of Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the manufacturing industry
