Continuous Improvement Specialist

Description

The Continuous Improvement Manager will define a CI vision aligned with Operational Excellence assessments and Hoshin Kanri objectives, implementing regional strategies that enhance safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost. Partnering with the Plant Manager, the role drives a Kaizen schedule, facilitates CI Council, and acts as a change agent at the Gemba to advance SQPDIC targets.

• Define and execute a Continuous Improvement vision based on Operational Excellence assessments and Hoshin Kanri goals.
• Implement regional CI strategy to improve safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost.
• Lead and schedule Kaizen activities to foster CI culture and achieve SQPDIC objectives.
• Facilitate CI Council meetings to evaluate Kaizen outcomes, problem‑solving countermeasures, and daily management.
• Act as a change agent using Gemba observations to advise leaders on SQPDIC performance gaps.
• Own training and development for both desk and non‑desk workers, delivering CI courses such as Introduction to CI, CI Coach, and CI Leadership.
• Drive adoption of Lean tools, Six Sigma integration, and Industry 4.0 digital platforms to support plant targets.
• Participation in at least three week‑long Kaizen events with full preparation and follow‑up.

Requirements

We seek candidates with a bachelor's degree and 3‑5 years of leadership experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement, including at least three week‑long Kaizen events and CI Practitioner or Greenbelt certification.
