Perform dynamic power system studies using PSSE and PSCAD.
Perform steady-state power flow and short-circuit analyses.

Monitor compliance with NERC reliability standards and address potential violations.
Evaluate Protection and Control features of substation.
Prepare technical reports and evidence packages for NERC audits.

4-Year Bachelors Electrical Engineering Degree.
10-15 years of experience in power system engineering, preferably in a NERC-regulated environment.

Proficiency in steady-state and dynamic power system analysis using tools.
Experience performing NERC PRC studies and good understanding of NERC PRC studies
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Excellent communication and documentation skills for audit preparation.
Strong knowledge of NERC reliability standards
Strong analytical skills for power flow and short-circuit analyses.
Willingness to complete learning of dynamic and transient stability simulations post-hire.
Demonstrate willingness to learn dynamic and transient stability simulations for future studies.
