Commercial Roofing Foreman

Description

The foreman will lead roof covering projects, overseeing the application of roofing membranes and related sealants.

• Read and interpret shop drawings to layout roofs, walls, and manufacturing details.
• Develop and enforce safety plans, conduct toolbox talks and safety huddles.
• Calculate labor projections, manage material inventory, and coordinate deliveries.
• Install, repair, and replace single‑ply roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC) and related components such as edge metal, insulation, flashings, pipe boots, gutters, and downspouts.
• Supervise, train, and coach crew and subcontractors to meet quality and production goals.
• Prepare and submit timesheets, shop requisitions, daily job reports, and coordinate punch‑list close‑out.
• Maintain on‑site equipment (e.g., kettle motors, cutters) and ensure proper tool usage.
• Perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lb, climbing ladders, and working in extreme temperatures.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED, 1–3 years roofing experience, and a valid driver’s license.
