- Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, audits, certifications, and quality documentation.
- Define quality objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with project milestones.
- Manage non-conformance reports, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and third-party auditors to ensure transparency and compliance.
- Ensure full compliance with local, regional, and international rail safety and quality regulations.
- Supervise site inspections, material testing, and verification of construction quality.
- Deliver regular quality performance reports to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Lead risk-based quality planning and ensure seamless integration with overall project delivery schedules.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive QA/QC strategy tailored to the high-speed rail project.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to validate constructability and compliance with technical specifications.
- Ensuring that all existing employees, potential employees, colleagues, and customers are treated equally and with respect.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and auditors across multiple project sites.
- Ensure rigorous design reviews, audits, and inspections are conducted throughout all project phases.
- Ensure contractors and subcontractors adhere strictly to approved quality plans and procedures.
- Oversee the design and implementation of Quality Management Systems (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and applicable rail industry standards.

- In-depth knowledge of rail industry standards (e.g., AREMA, EN, UIC).
- Having clear and concise procedures and guidelines for both line managers and employees to ensure policies are fully understood and implemented.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in QA/QC roles, including at least 5 years in the Middle East.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven track record of successful implementation on projects of similar scale and complexity.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or engineering discipline; Chartered Engineer status is highly desirable.
- Complying with the relevant employment legislation and codes of practice.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ASQ CQE) is an advantage.
