The Courtesy Patrol Officer (CPO) is tasked with observing and reporting all incidents on assigned properties, enforcing property rules, and escalating concerns to management or law enforcement to ensure resident safety and property security. The CPO works closely with management, conducts regular patrols, and documents activities through detailed reports.
- Observe and report property activity, including incidents, force usage, law enforcement actions, guest injuries, and property damage.
- Maintain daily activity reports covering patrols, guest communications, violations, safety concerns, inspections, and other information.
- Respond to management calls regarding operational changes or communications.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming floors.
- Follow all security procedures and protocols at all times.
- Acquire required security equipment (belt, handcuffs, flashlight, pepper spray).
- Work in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Stand and walk continuously throughout each shift.
- Interact face‑to‑face with customers regularly.
- Offer schedule flexibility, including nights and weekends.
- Comply with brand and company uniform and hygiene policies.
