Forklift Driver

Description

As a Customer Service Operator – Forklift Driver you will report to the Trade Store Manager, where you will be responsible for distribution activities through the daily operations of the Chullora trade store.

• Dealing with Customers face-to-face & over the phone
• Hand unloading plasterboard as an offsider
• Picking & Packing orders on a daily basis
• Regularly check & make up orders
• Assist with stock take / inventory counts process to ensure accurate inventory records are maintained
• Record and report any customer complaints to the Trade Stores Manager regarding product and / or service via Knauf's complaint and customer procedures
• Loading/unloading customer vehicles
• Receipt goods & checking off paperwork while maintaining due diligence
• Maintain operational equipment and report any faults or damage to management

Requirements

Please note, applicants must have entitlements to work in Australia. As part of the recruitment process, police and medical checks for security clearance pertaining to specific job requirements will be conducted for successful applicants

• Experience using Microsoft office
• Be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Valid forklift licence
• Valid Police Check
• Successful completion of pre-employment medical
• Full/Unrestricted Australian working rights
• Truck driver’s license would be highly regarded (if required)
• Prior experience within the Distribution & logistics Industry is highly desirable
• Ability to work from the Chullora site full time (Mon-Fri – 6am-2pm)
