The Lead Health IT Informatics Analyst serves as the primary architect of the Operational Informatics Pipeline (OCI) backlog. This role blends deep clinical workflow knowledge with technical system‑configuration expertise to deliver functional, tested, and adopted solutions.
Key responsibilities include leading the elicitation of complex patient‑safety requirements and translating them into data models and implementation guides; managing OCI solution architectures and the Agile Release Train backlog; coordinating national‑level user acceptance testing and overseeing the full lifecycle of requirements analysis, documentation, and defect management; and directing site implementation strategies and user‑adoption activities, evaluating clinical processes before and after go‑live.
Candidates must have extensive experience configuring Oracle Health (Cerner) and/or CPRS/VistA, expert skills in requirements elicitation, gap analysis, and artifact development, and proficiency in SQL and clinical informatics data management. A bachelor’s degree (or six+ years of specialized experience) and at least eight years of overall experience, including six years in health informatics, are required.
The position is remote, with salary based on experience and a comprehensive fringe‑benefits package. RESPEC’s employee‑ownership model includes eligibility to participate in the ESOP after a qualifying period, and the company offers flexible work schedules, paid parental leave, 401(k) with matching, professional development resources, tuition reimbursement, an employee assistance program, and medical, dental, and vision insurance.
