- Knowledge and understanding of project management and specification processes
- Experience in the field of project management, probably gained in a Graduate Project Manager role or equivalent
- Demonstrates a basic understanding of the different interfaces on projects
- Demonstrates awareness of commercial issues
- Basic understanding of health, safety and welfare including specific regulations
- An understanding of project management theory and principles, gained through practical application with developing ability to apply in practice
- Association for Project Management Project Fundamentals Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in an appropriate subject
- Associate membership of the Association for Project Management
- Good competence of project management software and similar analytical tools
