Handling queries during tender period
Draft instructions to tenderers
Preparing capital cost estimates
Advice on tendering procedures and contract arrangements
Negotiation with tenderers
Commercial evaluation of all tender submissions
Determination of amounts of claims
Prepare pricing documents for tender packages
Valuing proposed instructions
Drafting of contract packages including advice on amendments to standard forms
Drafting of PQQ questionnaires
Producing lifecycle cost estimates
Valuing progress on site for interim certificates
Drafting responses to contractors’ correspondence
Providing advice on tendering procedures
Development of tender evaluation criteria
Expediting contractors’ insurances, bonds and collateral warranties; and valuating contractors’ final accounts

Excellent organizational skills with an ability to produce accurate work to project deadlines
Quantity Surveying Degree required
Chartered (or close to Chartership) with SCSI.
Minimum of 8+ year experience in a consultant environment carrying out pre and post contract duties
Mechancial and or Electrical QS experience necessary
