Commercial Heating Design Engineer

You will be responsible for designing, specifying, and quoting complex commercial systems, while providing technical support and guidance to clients and consultant engineers. This role offers the chance to make a real impact in the development of sustainable heating solutions across Ireland.

• Review electrical and mechanical drawings to ensure technical accuracy.
• Provide technical back-up and guidance to clients, consultants, and project teams.
• Support the development of energy-efficient, sustainable heating strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues across engineering, sales, and projects to deliver tailored system solutions.
• Design and quote commercial heating systems, with a focus on larger heat pump solutions.
• Stay updated with industry trends, products, and innovations in renewable heating.

• Engineering degree (preferable) or equivalent technical qualification.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients and consultants.
• Willingness to undertake product training and ongoing professional development.
• A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in sustainable and innovative energy solutions.
• Strong technical understanding of heating, HVAC, and/or renewable energy systems.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Proven industry experience with commercial heating systems (250kW+).

• Salary €40,000 - €80,000 depending on experience
