Assists with creating scopes of work, recommendation of purchasing parts/materials/supplies required to complete assigned tasks.
Perform a variety of craftsman tasks including but not limited to carpentry (drywall repair, drop ceilings repair, woodworking, framing), plumbing (fixture repairs and replacements, installations, and maintenance), painting, lock systems and keying, furniture and equipment relocations and assembly.
Mentor Maintenance Technicians in the performance of daily work requirements at 6 locations. Maintain work records and prepare clear and concise oral and written reports
Observe all safety protocols and lead by example to foster a safe workplace through proper practices including, but not limited to:
Securing any unsafe conditions or areas.
Under the guidance of management, respond to multiple requests and issues as needed within a 15-mile radius of the Rockleigh Campus, including 4 facilities within walking distance and another 2 facilities within 12 miles.
Making sure outside contractors adhere to Crestron safety guidelines.
Conduct periodic inspections and ensure all accesses/egresses across facility are maintained and safe including but not limited to card access and security system, snow removal and ice melt application, exterior lighting, and reporting any unsafe issues to management.
Respond to temperature complaints throughout corporate campus and effectively communicate with Management for proper corrective action.
Applying Lockout/ Tagout procedures and practices to secure and release equipment being serviced.
Work collaboratively with team members and contractors in identifying problems, maintaining, repairing, and reporting tasks that may arise. Provide feedback on corrective action during and/or after task completion.
Coordinate the daily, weekly, and/or monthly inspections of (6) facilities and equipment as well as perform preventative maintenance tasks and repairs for including but not limited to – powered industrial trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, packaging equipment, MEP fixtures, loading dock equipment, air compressors, overhead doors, water heaters, roof systems, doors and hardware, furniture, elevators, life safety systems, machinery including various saws and testing fixtures.
Conduct open/closing procedures. Including but not limited to ensuring all equipment and lighting is turned on/off, buildings have been fully vacated, building burglary system is armed, and all doors are secured. Reporting any issues to management immediately.
Escorting various vendors throughout corporate properties, ensure vendor is adhering to all safety guidelines and is not deviating from area of work. Ensure all vendors have completed the sign-in and visitor badge process prior to allowing access to the facility. Working alongside vendors with limited supervision from management is important.
Reporting to CREWS management about any safety concerns or unsafe conditions.
Perform emergency action plan responsibilities including but not limited to surveying buildings during evacuation and assisting with the egress of facility.

OSHA 30 required or willing to obtain within the first 90 days of employment.

Understanding of the operation of various building systems.
Valid driver license in NJ or NY
Must be able and willing to work at heights exceeding 35’ and atop roofing structures.
Proficient in Carpentry, furniture, and plumbing systems.
Ability to set priorities in coordination with management within a fast-paced environment
Experienced knowledge of tools, materials and supplies required to complete regular and more complex tasks.
Fluent in English, reading, writing, and speaking.
Ability to or willing to learn to pull and/or terminate low voltage wiring as it relates to Cat5e/6/7.
Detail oriented, with detailed communication skills verbal, and in writing.
Withstand exposure to cold, heat, vibration, outdoors, domestic waste, and heights.
Strong technical aptitude with diagnostic abilities.
Required while performing the duties of this position including but not limited to using hands to finger, handle, or feel. Frequently required to stand, talk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Ability to work well with team members and foster positive team spirit.
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Understanding and carrying out oral and written instructions. Reading, understanding and following work rules and procedures is important.
