Land Survey - Project Manager

Description

The role encompasses overall oversight of survey projects, ensuring high‑quality deliverables, managing budgets and profitability, and driving business development to deepen client relationships.

• Conduct quality control of survey documents, plans, record plots, and construction layout services.
• Provide weekly progress and status reports to project stakeholders and management.
• Oversee surveying activities, staff, technical resources, and client communication across multiple projects.
• Execute safety and quality assurance procedures.
• Lead business development initiatives and maintain market presence.
• Monitor project budgets, profitability, and billing; collaborate with accounting for collections.
• Develop staff, prepare contracts, and manage performance metrics.
• Champion the company brand, values, and culture with a positive attitude.

Requirements

The firm is expanding its team in Warren, NJ and seeks an experienced Project Manager who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Candidates must bring at least eight years of surveying experience, a strong record of leadership and business development, proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, and excellent communication skills; a Licensed Land Surveyor credential and a bachelor’s degree are preferred.

• Minimum of 8 years of survey experience; Licensed Land Surveyor preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related technical software.
• Excellent communication, diplomacy, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex drawings and documents.
