Construction Manager - Lead

Description

You will manage delivery of specific areas or work packages, meeting KPIs for safety, quality, cost and programme, and work as part of the construction delivery team. The position requires building and managing relationships with trade/sub‑contractors, internal colleagues and external stakeholders.

• Support team performance through performance management, technical development and coaching.
• Manage the structure or fit‑out of a specific area/package, ensuring site conditions, programme, quality and safety standards.
• Liaise with project package managers to coordinate programme and critical‑path works.
• Lead forecast look‑ahead meetings for the assigned area or package.
• Provide detailed planned‑vs‑actual data and escalate deviations to construction leadership.
• Apply the project’s digital strategy and locate construction information as needed.
• Manage close‑out of the area, adhering to QA/QC plans, ITPs and handover procedures.
• Develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilise the Centre of Excellence knowledge base and company best practices.
• Promote business priorities in construction, digital, data and responsible practices.
• Collaborate on net‑zero carbon transition by identifying and managing carbon emissions and reductions.
