The Equipment Commissioning Manager (EqCM) supports the Equipment North America organization on startup, warranty, and service coordination. Reporting initially to the Regional Service Manager and later to the Branch Service Manager, the EqCM serves as the single point of contact for equipment contracts, works closely with the Customer Resource Coordinator, and interfaces directly with EqNA customers.
- Support EqNA sales during project estimates by defining service scope and need for Service Mechanical projects.
- Provide custom quotes for service items outside the PCAT policy.
- Verify branch technicians are trained for secured contracts and coordinate additional training with the Truck Based Service Manager.
- Attend RTO meetings on complex or PSA projects to identify service and warranty concerns.
- Validate PSA details with the SAE/Agent Project Owner and supply required documentation.
- Conduct weekly service turnover meetings with SAEs and the Branch Operations Manager to coordinate and monitor service scopes.
- Introduce Connected Service capabilities to customers.
- Coordinate all scheduled work and schedule changes directly with EqNA customers.
- Ensure asset records in NxGen are correctly created and assigned for future service requests and quotes.
- Manage FOB Destination delivery communications with CRC, technicians, SAE, and customers.
- Confirm warranty information is accurate in Warranty Navigator and resolve any discrepancies with SAE and the Warranty Admin team.
- Monitor Long‑Term Storage requirements and coordinate with the SAE and customer.
- Promote utilization of Pronto Forms for pre‑startup checklists, technician inspections, and warranty work.
- Ensure startup completion, resolve issues, and provide customers with startup documentation.
- Record startup dates in NxGen and register started equipment in Warranty Navigator, providing warranty certification to customers.
- Ensure prompt invoicing of service requests with CRC upon scope completion.
- Act as first point of contact for warranty requests, dispatch technicians promptly, and file claims with CRC and the Warranty Service Coordinator.
- Escalate and resolve issues that hinder warranty work, including parts and resource availability, and coordinate technical support to accelerate cash collections.
- Facilitate technical support for EqNA customers as needed.

The role requires over 10 years of industry experience or a technical engineering/construction degree, proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects. Preferred qualifications include a BA in Engineering or Construction, HVAC equipment knowledge, and MS Office expertise. Salary ranges from $89,000 to $121,000, with compensation determined by experience, education, and market data.
