You should be confident managing teams, setting goals, evaluating outcomes, and reporting to senior management. The role involves developing and implementing BIM policies and processes, supporting staff training, and ensuring best practice is followed across all projects.
Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be working closely with both internal teams and client bodies. A good knowledge of digital design processes is important, and an interest in how AI can be embedded into BIM workflows would be an advantage.
