What you would be doing

  • Ensure all IT activities, including relocating IS, telephone and office equipment as requested by key personnel during business hours, strictly in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Provision new assets/replacement assets, maintain adequate site stock levels while ensuring accurate recording of assets within the IT Asset register
  • Ensure all IT activities are compliant with the Kingspan IT manual and any activities falling outside the Kingspan IT Manual governance are logged and either resolved or escalated where appropriate.
  • Monitor, update and escalate calls to ensure Service Levels are achieved.
  • Be an ambassador for the IS department, actively promoting the use of IS toolset where applicable within the business.
  • Fault-finding and maintaining servers, PC's, network infrastructure hardware and software (including laptops) used in the organisation.
  • Undertake any training provided by the organisation.
  • Document in the IT Service Desk, according to the standards of the organisation, any system changes, updates, and modifications released while carrying out the role.
  • In a business-like manner accurately log details of reported Incidents and Service Requests.

  • Microsoft scripting technologies including PowerShell, VBA, and VBScript.
  • Working knowledge of the O365 Suite, Exchange Online, O365 Administration, Azure Experience in an ITIL Ticketing system, managing, creation and solving Issus/Requests within an outlined and timely manner.
  • Must demonstrate a good attitude to work and be flexible to challenges and changes.
  • Fundamental understanding of Active Directory User administration
  • Possess an enthusiastic, energetic and can-do approach to customer service and solution delivery.
  • Must have excellent timekeeping and communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.
  • Fundamental understanding of Network troubleshooting, able to identify reasons for loss in connectivity and slowness and solve with relevant solutions.
  • In depth experience in desktop support for Windows 10/11, IOS, Android and printers.
  • Full driving licence with the ability to travel as and when required.
  • Have a working knowledge of O365, including managing and maintaining SharePoint and OneDrive.
  • Have a working knowledge of Windows server.
  • Advanced Windows Server.
  • Advanced knowledge of Citrix and/or Windows Terminal Services.
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft SQL (DBA and/or T-SQL).
