Construction Superintendent (Education)

Description

• Enforce strict safety protocols and maintain high quality control standards across the jobsite.
• Promote a professional, collaborative, and safety-focused culture across all project teams.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety regulations.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and on-site crews to achieve project milestones on time and within budget.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and site logs.
• Oversee daily field operations on K-12 and education projects, ensuring work aligns with plans, specifications, and project goals.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and school officials to address project needs and challenges.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact schedule, budget, or quality.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead K-12 and education-focused construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing school construction, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence while fostering strong relationships with school districts, project teams, and subcontractors. • Proven experience managing K-12 or other education-related construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety standards specific to educational facilities.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
• Prior experience as a Construction Superintendent is required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
• Proficiency with construction management software and project documentation tools is preferred.
