- Develop and direct service line strategies aligned with VHB’s strategic plan and regional business goals.
- Align service offerings to market requirements and collaborate with regional leadership to identify new services or skills.
- Create growth plans, identify market opportunities, and drive key hires and business development.
- Monitor and maintain financial performance of the Survey/Geomatics group.
- Promote awareness and adoption of leading‑edge data‑driven technologies within the team.
- Deploy innovative work processes and applications to improve project effectiveness and client service.
- Develop client solutions leveraging advanced data and technology.
- Establish and implement consistent QA/QC work processes and quality plans across disciplines.
- Review audit feedback and apply best practices regionally.
- Create project plans, organize resources, and execute projects to completion.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain project budgets, scopes, and schedules.
- Facilitate work sharing across offices and advise on staff deployment for major projects and pursuits.
- Manage Survey/Geomatics professionals, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local regulations and VHB policies.
- Identify and implement innovative ideas that add value strategically.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manager for the Survey/Geomatics group, based in Princeton, NJ. This role involves overall program and project management, leading and scaling the team for diverse projects, and employing data‑driven technologies to ensure high‑quality deliverables for our client.
- Demonstrate excellent management skills focused on performance recognition and development.
- Possess broad technical mastery and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and interpersonally.
- Work independently, multitask, and collaborate positively with teams.
- Exhibit self‑motivation, high organization, and attention to detail.
- Require 10+ years managing Survey/Geomatics projects, including 5+ years in client, staff, and project leadership.
- Hold a BS in Survey Engineering, Geomatics, GIS, Engineering, Reality Capture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Professional Land Surveyor license preferred.
