Senior Electrical Estimator

Description

• Leverage deep market knowledge and competitive intelligence to position the company for long-term success
• Lead estimating efforts for complex or high-value electrical construction projects, from pre-bid strategy to final submission
• Support executive and sales leadership with cost models, risk analyses, and bid/no-bid recommendations
• Perform QA/QC reviews for all electrical bids to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications
• Contribute to refining estimating processes, templates, and best practices to improve accuracy and efficiency
• Mentor and train junior estimators, fostering skill development and process consistency
• Lead estimating efforts complex and high-value electrical construction projects from pre-bid through final submission
• Maintain and grow strategic relationships with electrical contractors, general contractors, engineers, and suppliers

Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership ability with a history of mentoring junior estimators
• Light physical effort equal distribution of mail
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Construction Management, or related discipline; advanced certifications in estimating or project management preferred
• Regularly required to sit Work Environment:
• 5+ years of progressive experience in electrical estimating, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role
• Deep understanding of industry trends, cost structures, and competitive positioning strategies. Specialty in water/wastewater preferred
• Expert-level proficiency in electrical estimating software and the ability to implement process improvements
